Who are benefited?
The Hands-on Environmental learning programme is being implemented
in eight states spread over different parts of the country. During
the first phase on pilot basis, hundred schools from each state
have been involved in this programme. The states selected initially
are:
The beneficiaries include, school students, teachers, local community
and decision-makers / planners. The programme has build formal networks
/ partnerships with local NGOs, SDEs, DIETs and other educational
institutes. The programme is now being extended to several other
states of the country.
