Orientation Workshop was organized for the selected states on August 21, 2001 at Scope Convention Centre, Lodi Road. The Workshop was attended by the Nodal Officers from the Project States, representing key players like state department of Education, NCERT, DIETs, etc. The workshop aimed to develop the complete programme for the pilot implementation of the project. During the workshop, strategies were made to implement the programme in an efficient way in the project states.
Phase 2
One sensitisation workshop of one day was conducted in each state. Each of these workshops was attended by State Education Secretary, Nodal Officer, SCERT Official, IES Official, and MoEF officers. During the workshop, the results of the pilot project, implemented in eight pilot states, were discussed, and plan of action was prepared for the activities to be conducted under the programme for the 2nd phase.
