GLOBE Telecommunication use the Internet and the World Wide Web to submit the data collected by GLOBE students to the GLOBE headquarters and to help the students worldwide to explore the data for their own investigation and also to understand the earth better.

STEPS FOR GLOBE TELECOMMUNICATION

Step 1 : Connect your computer to the internet.
Step 2 : Install a browser that lets you use the world wide web
Step 3 : Now you are ready to explore GLOBE on the world wide web: GLOBE has a web home page (http://www.globe.government) that is designed for the general public. This home page is a starting point that easily leads to the form to submit data, obtain bulletins and updates, read background information about the programme and examine and retrieve data from other GLOBE schools which will help them to learn and explore.

As a GLOBE school you can generally start your school's home page by clicking at the option of GLOBE school login, which is being provided on the GLOBE home page.

Each GLOBE school has been provided with a unique ID and password, which they need to enter when they were asked to do so. After entering the school ID and password GLOBE students and teachers are now ready to explore the particular school's homepage in GLOBE website where students can feed data, retrieve data, know more schools, communicate with GLOBE scientists etc.
